Bluecrest Government Sales Executive

The Bluecrest Government Sales Executive is responsible for managing the placement and expansion of Bluecrest products across Federal & State and Local government territory to achieve all assigned business objectives. The Sales Executive is expected to be capable of understanding strategic business direction, develop effective go-to-market strategies and drive execution plans through the geography for the Bluecrest direct products and work in concert with the BCC software team. This role will include both team leadership and critical direct account management.

The Bluecrest Government Sales Executive is the leader that builds and maintains relationships with the regional sales specialist, Product line management teams, other Bluecrest product sales teams, customer marketing, and service teams to formulate strategies to optimize account development, client satisfaction and loyalty.

The Bluecrest Government Sales Executive is also responsible for leveraging their significant industry expertise to provide insight and guidance to our clients as an executive consultant. The Bluecrest Government Sales Executive needs to understand and convey this information as a means to expand trust and confidence in Bluecrest's industry leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth - Achieve growth in sales attainment (written business and revenue) through expansion of current Bluecrest government customer install base and acquisition of competitive clients or non-users
  • Government Strategy – Assure contract viability, expansion, client segmentation and targeting, partnering where appropriate and coordinate with direct sales team to ensure client expansion. This will also entail working internally to understand contract updates, security conformance and other items that require Bluecrest product, engineering or service support.
  • Conformance- Document and monitor all required engagement models for various contract vehicles, subcontracting and other specialized relationships. Participate in contract renewal tracking, RFP's to secure new contract vehicles and audits/reporting.
  • Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management - Ensure timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of sales activities and customer information through ongoing usage of sales automation tools. Provide an accurate forecast of territory sales results. Review and analyze the sales pipeline to provide an accurate forecasting of monthly results that roll-up to the region.
  • Communication – Internal and external written and verbal communications skills will be critical to effective performance.

The role will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with the collective customer service team, home office product management teams, sales operations team, marketing team, Pre sales customer engineers, and sales leadership.
