Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician required for a well-established company with over 40 years in the trade. The job is based near Rushden Train Station, John Clark Way, Rushden NN10 0AW. The Electrical Maintenance Technician job is paying between £29k and £36.4k, working Monday to Friday 40 hour week.

Job Duties:

• Carrying out general maintenance to electrical equipment and systems.
• Undertaking site installation work. On-site maintenance and service. Be able to work alone or as part of a team and solution finding.
• Attending to reactive electrical breakdowns & undertaking repairs.
• Responsible for undertaking minor electrical installations and rewiring of low voltage systems.

Job Recruitments:

Someone ideally who is a fully qualified Electrical Installation Engineer, or having experience working as an Electrical Improver, Electrical Mate, Electrical Handyman, Electrical Mate or Apprentice Electrician. Preferably have knowledge of building maintenance systems and experience working in commercial environment. 18th Edition is essential, IPAF Certificate advantageous, ECS Card advantageous, 2391 Test & Inspection an advantage. NVQ level 3/AM2 or equivalent, previous experience within a similar role working in an industrial environment essential. Good manual skills for electronic and electrical installation tasks, the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
