Our client, a well established HVAC service provider is looking to fill a permanent job for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work mobile around London & home counties. Salary up to £45k pa + van + benefits.

M-F 8-5 + overtime.

Job duties:

• The Gas Engineer will work mobile covering high profile commercial sites.
• The Gas Engineer will respond to reactive call outs and attend site to fix.
• The Gas Engineer will carry out planned maintenance within plant room areas.
• The Gas Engineer will carry out combustion duties, servicing a wide range of commercial gas boilers from 250KW to 10 MW, to SFG.
• The Gas Engineer will carry out small remedial projects including boiler replacements, pipework mods, valve replacements.
• The Gas Engineer will manage subcontractors and the company's other technical resources.
• The Gas Engineer will oversee Health & Safety in line with our client's systems.
• The Gas Engineer will develop quotations for additional works and repairs as required.

Job requirements:

• The ideal candidate for the Gas Engineer job will have a time served apprenticeship and hold commercial gas qualifications.
• The Gas Engineer will have commercial gas experience, someone who has worked as a Gas Engineer, Commercial Gas Engineer or Combustion Engineer would be suitable for the Gas Engineer job role.
• The Gas Engineer will have mechanical experience to confidently work on pipework and related equipment.
• The Gas Engineer will be confident in carrying out pump overhauls including bearing changes, seal replacements.
• The Gas Engineer will be IT literate and be comfortable working with an electronic works management system (CAFM).
• Be a good problem solver and ability to fault find and rectify.
• The Gas Engineer will have good technical knowledge and customer service skills.
• The Gas Engineer will require someone with a clean driving licence.
