Must Have Skills:

Security Architecture & Engineering – Strong knowledge of network, application, and cloud security architecture design and implementation.
Incident Response & Threat Management – Proven experience in threat detection, investigation, and remediation using modern security tools (SIEM, EDR, SOAR).
Cloud Security Expertise – Hands-on experience securing environments in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, encryption, and logging configurations.
Vulnerability Management – Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
Scripting & Automation – Ability to automate security tasks and workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Good to Have Skills:

Security Frameworks & Compliance – Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, or PCI-DSS frameworks.
DevSecOps Integration – Experience embedding security controls in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Container & Kubernetes Security – Understanding of securing containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
Forensics & Malware Analysis – Ability to perform root cause analysis and identify advanced threats.
Certifications – Relevant credentials such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty

Roles and Responsibilities:

Security Strategy & Implementation – Design and deploy enterprise security solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring & Incident Handling – Continuously monitor security events, respond to incidents, and coordinate investigations.
Risk & Vulnerability Management – Conduct periodic assessments, prioritize risks, and ensure timely mitigation.
Security Awareness & Collaboration – Partner with Engineering, IT, and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices.
Continuous Improvement – Research emerging threats and technologies to strengthen organizational defense capabilities.
