Qualification: Any graduation

Experience: 3 to 8 years

Must Have Skills:

ETL Tools Knowledge: Hands-on experience in supporting ETL jobs using tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.

Incident & Job Monitoring: Strong ability to monitor ETL job schedules, logs, and resolve failures/escalate as needed.

SQL Expertise: Ability to write and debug complex SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution.

24x7 Support Availability (Shift-Based): Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support as required.

Root Cause Analysis & Ticket Management: Experience with incident tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and documenting RCA.

Good to Have Skills:

Unix/Linux Scripting Knowledge: Familiarity with shell scripting to debug and support ETL workflows on UNIX systems.

Basic Data Warehousing Concepts: Understanding of star/snowflake schemas, staging, and data marts.

Experience with Scheduling Tools: Exposure to job schedulers like Control-M, Autosys, or TWS.

Cloud ETL Support Exposure: Knowledge of supporting ETL in cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or GCP Dataflow.

Performance Tuning Awareness: Basic knowledge of how to identify and report ETL performance issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor & Support ETL Workflows: Proactively monitor daily ETL jobs and ensure successful completion.

Issue Troubleshooting & Resolution: Investigate failed jobs, perform basic fixes, and escalate complex issues to L3 teams.

Service Ticket Handling: Manage and resolve support tickets within defined SLAs, including incident, change, and problem tickets.

Documentation & Knowledge Base Maintenance: Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and update resolution steps in the knowledge base.

Coordination with Upstream/Downstream Teams: Collaborate with database admins, business analysts, and application teams for issue resolution and data flow validation.
