As an Entry Level Engineering Technician at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, KS, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients' goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch.

Functions in an entry level capacity. Under close supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Utilizes digital tools, design software (CAD, BIM, 3D tools, etc.), and standardized procedures to assist in the creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.

Black & Veatch's EDGE Program is a multi-year rotational experience designed to accelerate early-career growth. Participants rotate through 3–4 roles across different business areas — including one field assignment — to gain a full view of the project lifecycle. It's a launchpad for future leaders looking to explore career paths, gain hands-on experience, and learn directly from senior mentors. With quarterly development sessions focused on leadership and innovation, you'll build a strong foundation for long-term success.
