As a Structural Engineer (Transmission Line) Summer Intern at Black & Veatch in Dallas, TX, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Support development of design specifications and contract drawings
- Perform variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
- Prepare basic calculations
- Analyze systems utilizing computer modeling
- Organize and file project materials and references

Minimum Qualifications:
No experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering program with a preferred emphasis in Structural Engineering. Preference in coursework is at least 1 design course. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
