Staff Solutions Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Staff Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team in the US and help drive growth by building strong relationships through cutting-edge technology.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will report directly to the VP of Global Sales. You will partner with sales leadership, product, engineering, and other departments to maximize impact. Additionally, you will ensure the "voice of the field" is echoed throughout Bitrise so that we can maximize our learnings. This opportunity is a chance to maximize on our current Solutions Engineering foundation by leading strategy development, culture building, and cross functional team work that brings Bitrise to $100m+ and beyond.
Our Ideal Candidate
A bit about you:
- You have been a professional software developer at some point in your career, ideally in mobile, platform engineering, and/or DevOps.
- Minimum 3 years successful track record selling a technical SaaS product
- You have shipped an app to the App Store or Play Store
- Experience in selling a deeply technical product/service with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of DevOps
- You have sold to Enterprises/Strategic customers successfully
- Excellent communications, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop strong and trusted relationships at all levels
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills - someone who leads by example and mentors the greater team around them
- Excellent coaching, writing, discovery and the ability to present in a sales capacity to C-Suite customers
- Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor
- Enthusiasm for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
- Proven experience of technical pre-sales preferably within a SaaS organization
What Would Really Knock Our Socks Off
- Have experience pitching to software development teams
- You are multilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, especially)
- Knowledge of more than one mobile development frameworks (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc)
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Experience with build systems (for example, you've written a Gradle plugin)
Your Responsibilities
As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Bitrise, you will:
- Partner with your Account Executive to articulate Bitrise's value proposition, vision and strategy to the world's largest mobile development teams
- Keeping up with all things mobile development including new releases and industry insights
- Directly responsible for teaming up with Sales team on all aspects of the sales lifecycle
- Take ownership and responsibility for the technical activities in assigned accounts and the lead defining the "technical" sales strategy for complex sales opportunities.
- Provide strategic and Sr. level presentations, demonstrations and trade show/Event support
- Provide Product/engineering management with customer and market feedback
Your Key Challenges, Measures and Outcomes in the First 6 – 12 Months
- In the first 3 months you will:
- Understand the Bitrise product offering by providing technical support to existing customers
- Deliver your first demo of Bitrise to a prospect
- In the first 6 months you will:
- Independently deliver demos and lead POCs
- Partner with the product org to influence the product roadmap with customer insights
- In the first 12 months you will:
- Represent Bitrise at industry events
- Deliver webinars, conference talks, and publish articles to the blog
