- This role involves working on the ESXi cpu & server platform system kernel team, focusing on Arm & x86 architecture support.
- The engineer will be responsible for core CPU, hardware platform bring-ups, boot, chipset, drivers, and virtualization.
- Collaboration with engineers from partner software development teams is required to jointly develop solutions on ESXi.
- The candidate will engage in research to identify and architect future capabilities for the ESXi platform.
- Maintaining high quality standards and working with customers to resolve issues will be part of the job responsibilities.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in C programming and scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting is essential for success in this role.
- A solid understanding of modern microprocessor architectures and experience with hardware bring-ups will be crucial.
- The candidate should possess strong analytical and debugging skills, enabling them to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
