About the Role
Bitdeer is seeking proactive and highly organized HR Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure smooth and efficient management of our day-to-day HR functions. You'll go beyond maintaining records and answering inquiries; we're seeking someone with a keen eye for detail and a knack for identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices. The ideal candidate will take initiative to find and solve problems, ultimately helping to build a more efficient and effective HR framework for our growing company.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Offer Processing: Create, send, and track signed offer letters; ensure proper approvals and compliance language (export control, immigration, NDAs, IP agreements).
- Pre-Onboarding Compliance: Coordinate background checks, legal reviews, and work eligibility verification prep (I-9 or international equivalents).
- New Hire Preparation: Set up new hire portal access, provide intro packets, instructions, and pre-start forms.
- Systems Handoffs: Ensure smooth transitions to IT (equipment/accounts), Payroll (tax forms, direct deposit), Benefits, and Security (badges, access).
- Onboarding Execution: Manage Day 1 activities, handbook and policy acknowledgments, compliance training, and system access confirmation.
- Post-Onboarding: Track benefits enrollment, payroll accuracy, compliance reporting, and manager/employee check-ins.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. This includes preparing new hire documentation, conducting I-9 verifications, and managing exit paperwork.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows, define new process maps, and drive automation/integration of ATS, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain process documentation, develop training materials, and support managers in onboarding practices.
How You Will Stand Out
- 5-10+ years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, or people programs.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements: work authorization (I-9), export control, background checks, NDAs, and employment laws.
- Proven ability to document and redesign workflows for efficiency and automation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong program/project management experience.
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
- Preferred Technical Skills
- ADP setup and configuration.
- ATS setup and configuration
- HRIS integration experience.
- Basic system administration and IT troubleshooting skills.
