LTL Operations Student

Post-Secondary Student Position

We are currently recruiting an energetic, results-focused post-secondary student to join our team! This position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn more about our Less than Truckload team, the Company, and the industry. We are looking to fill roles in the following LTL area: Operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Order tracing and entry.
• Appointment booking.
• Communications to our cross docks.
• Various assignments including development of our new system, accounts, training, and onboarding procedures.
• Profitability analysis.
• Rating orders.
• Regional network development.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education with a focus on any combination of Supply Chain, Management, or Business Administration.
• Ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player.
• Exceptional customer service skills; embraces the concept of both the internal and external customer.
• Flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands.
• Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, high volume and fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

This position requires full-time availability during the summer (Monday to Friday with flexibility for weekends), with the potential for flexible part-time hours during the school year.
