This position is located in Rostock-Warnemünde (known as CORTRONIK GmbH), which is responsible for the development and production of innovative stents and scaffolds.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Test Engineer (M/W/D)

Your Tasks

  • Development, procurement, commissioning, and qualification or validation of test rigs and test methods in accordance with current national and international standards; creation of technical documentation and corresponding working and validation documents
  • Support of the research & development / production areas in development and technology projects, care of test setups and devices
  • Independent planning, execution, and evaluation of imaging tests (e.g., light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, CLSM, µCT, MRI safety) and interpretation of the results; writing corresponding reports
  • Technical responsibility for specific subject areas and technical guidance of colleagues in these areas

Your Profile

  • Degree in a natural or engineering science, ideally medical technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics with a relevant specialization
  • 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field (medical technology, testing) desirable
  • Knowledge in the field of anatomy/physiology of the circulatory system; biomechanical prerequisites/relevant literature and standards
  • Materials knowledge
  • Knowledge in the field of imaging techniques (REM/EDX, CLSM, µCT) as well as recognized statistical evaluation methods
  • Experience in the development and validation of test methods in medical technology
  • Fluent German and English in speech and writing
  • Secure handling of MS Office applications as well as Minitab
