Senior Software Test Engineer

The value stream interfaces in the digital services and infrastructure department is responsible for the central communication components between our home monitoring system and all programming and patient devices. We are also responsible for the fleet management system for many of the devices in use.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties include creating automated software tests for the central message gateways and the fleet management of our digital CRM world. You are part of an interdisciplinary stream-aligned team responsible for the implementation of sophisticated product features from planning to operation. You bring your ideas and experience to offer our customers high-quality software solutions.

As part of an agile team, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Creation, review, and maintenance of requirement specifications
• Conception, design, and implementation of automated software tests for product features
• Coordination, execution, evaluation, and documentation of software tests
• Conception and development of strategies and frameworks for software testing based on state-of-the-art technologies
• Creation and further development of test concepts

Your Profile

After completing a degree in IT or a comparable qualification, you have gained several years of experience as a software test engineer and are looking for a new challenge. A quality-conscious approach is very important to you. You have strong analytical skills and are motivated to continuously develop yourself. You are proficient in both German and English.

Knowledge in the following areas is also advantageous:

• Automation of software tests for complex software systems
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java
• Database and persistence technologies (NoSQL, SQL, Hibernate)
• Work with Jira and code repositories (e.g. BitBucket, GitHub) as well as Eclipse or IntelliJ
