As a Research Specialist Genomics Research, you are responsible for conducting laboratory experiments in the context of R&D projects and studies, as well as method validations according to protocols and SOPs.
Please note: This position is a temporary position for 1 year and cannot be offered on an indefinite basis.
Your main tasks are:
- Reliable execution of valid standard operating procedures (SOP), including careful and detailed documentation of the performed steps in the provided documentation systems (computer-based and paper-based)
- Collection and storage of raw data
- Documentation and reporting of any deviations from the protocol, SOP, process, and/or study plan
- Active support in the improvement of processes (e.g. communication of improvement potentials)
- Support in the acceptance and organization of materials and samples and in the qualification and maintenance of devices and instruments
- Responsible for cleanliness and order in the laboratory
Your profile:
- Completed degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or a training as a (natural science or medical) technical assistant (TA), laboratory assistant or comparable qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in relevant fields
- Good knowledge of and experience with bioanalytical, molecular and cell biological methods
- Knowledge of relevant GxP requirements for analytical methods is desirable
- Good German and English skills
