Your Tasks:

• Mainly responsible for all tasks of facility management in national and international (new) construction projects with a focus on accompanying the planning of technical building equipment and its operation
• Commissioning and acceptance of technical building equipment in new buildings and after renovations, assessment of technical infrastructure in rental objects
• Development and implementation of infrastructure projects in the function of project manager, especially in projects for the continuous increase of study and production capacity with a focus on Mainz and national locations
• (Further) development of cross-site topics of facility management, such as digitalization, introduction of software solutions, spare parts management as well as standardization of project and operational processes
• Technical consulting on construction and operational topics: e.g. supervision of trades taking into account legal and occupational safety relevant frameworks, support in the selection of service providers for repair, maintenance and refurbishment of building infrastructure, as well as consulting on contract negotiations as an interface to procurement

Your Qualifications:

• Completed relevant degree (e.g. energy or supply engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) or comparable training
• Many years of experience in project work, preferably in renovations
• Broad understanding of the technical building equipment of laboratory and production buildings, ideally in the pharmaceutical environment
• Relevant knowledge of applicable laws, standards and guidelines as well as requirements for occupational and environmental protection
• Fluent and negotiation-safe German and English skills in speech and writing, other foreign languages are an advantage
• Knowledge in business economic matters and high cost awareness
• Stress resistance, flexibility, reliability and team orientation as well as self-confident behavior and independent work
• High service orientation, quick comprehension and prioritization ability
• Excellent communication skills as well as respectful handling of contact persons of all hierarchical levels
• Secure handling of ERP (preferably SAP PM), CAFM and BIM systems, MS Office, especially Excel knowledge
• Increased willingness to travel (approx. 20% of total activity)
