Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a talented BAP-Quality Assurance Engineer who has a passion for software and quality. This individual will work closely with engineers and the product team to review new features as well as develop and execute test scenarios which will help improve the quality of our software for BigPay. You will also help the QA team become more efficient by contributing to writing automated tests for our mobile/web/browser extension apps.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality assurance of BigPay products
• Testing activities; estimation, prioritization, test script creation and execution
• Mobile, browser extension and API testing
• Contributing to writing Automation or Manual tests

Requirements

• Interested in Quality Assurance (QA) work and familiar with testing theories and methodologies
• Have an strong interest and good understanding of crypto and blockchain
• Good communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to learn
• Solid with coding, and reading/understanding code

Key Scopes

• Middleware Stability & High Availability: Assisting in maintaining high-availability Kafka/Redis clusters, despite limited production experience.
• Performance Monitoring & Alert: Filtering out irrelevant alerts while accurately identifying genuine performance bottlenecks or failures.
• Effective AI Model Integration: Ensuring AI tools accurately correlate Redis/Kafka metrics (e.g., latency, throughput, consumer lag) with real issues, avoiding false positives/negatives.
