Cybersecurity Researcher

We are an innovative cybersecurity startup developing AI-driven solutions for binary and program analysis. Our mission is to fundamentally understand software and how it breaks. We are building a team of researchers and engineers who are passionate about solving deep technical challenges in code analysis and vulnerability detection. If you want to work on groundbreaking technology that secures the software supply chain from the ground up, you've come to the right place. With a research-driven culture and a dedicated and collaborative founding team, we tackle some of the most exciting challenges in cybersecurity, creating impact at every level—from developers to CEOs.

Tasks

  1. Develop and implement innovative solutions in binary and program analysis.
  2. Work with cutting-edge technologies and help shape our next-generation product lines and security tools.
  3. Collaborate on the design and implementation of our static analysis engine, focusing on improving precision and performance from day one.
  4. Analyze complex software, identify vulnerabilities, and design robust countermeasures.
  5. Research new ways to improve and scale automated security analysis.
  6. Have a direct impact: work closely with our founding team in an agile and decisive environment, and contribute to core technical challenges that directly shape our product.

Requirements

We're looking for a creative problem-solver with a deep interest in how software works internally. While a formal degree is helpful, what truly matters to us is your practical experience and portfolio.

  • You have demonstrated experience in program analysis (e.g., static, dynamic, symbolic execution), reverse engineering, or vulnerability research. A background in compiler technologies is a huge plus.
  • You have hands-on experience building complex systems in at least one of our primary languages: Rust, Python, or Go.
  • You have a proactive, research-oriented mindset and are passionate about building robust solutions for problems that don't yet have a known answer.
  • You possess strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a project team, sharing your expertise to contribute to our collaborative culture.

Benefits

We invest in our team and believe in providing an environment where you can do your best work.

  • The opportunity to work on pioneering technologies that make a real difference, with significant ownership of your projects.
  • A competitive salary package.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • A modern office in Bochum's cybersecurity hub with flexible hours and a hybrid work model that trusts you to manage your time.
  • A collaborative and friendly team driven by curiosity and innovation. We value open communication, love to share knowledge and push the boundaries of what's possible.

Sounds like you?

We look forward to receiving your application.
