Data Engineer Role

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
• Implement dimensional data models to support efficient data warehousing and business intelligence needs.
• Create interactive data apps and dashboards using Streamlit for internal stakeholders.
• Develop Python scripts and tools for data manipulation, transformation, and automation.
• Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Maintain data documentation, version control, and ensure adherence to data governance policies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with Snowflake (data loading, transformation, performance tuning, security setup, etc.).
• Strong experience in writing stored procedures and tasks in Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and application development.
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit to build and deploy data-driven web apps.
• Solid understanding and practical application of dimensional modeling techniques (e.g., star/snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions).
• Experience with SQL and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version c Extension possible
