At Betsson Group, we are looking for a forward-thinking DevOps Engineer to help us craft strategic solutions for managing the production and development infrastructure of our global Sportsbook product. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing automation, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

As a member of the development team, you'll leverage your expertise in modern DevOps practices to enable seamless release management, high system reliability, and improved build and release efficiency. With a focus on quality and scalability, you will contribute to building a world-class infrastructure that powers our global platform.

A Taster Of What You Will Be Involved With:

• Collaborating with development teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps best practices.
• Automating deployments and infrastructure management for distributed applications.
• Driving cost optimization through FinOps principles to manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Enhancing observability by setting up distributed tracing, metrics, and logs using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
• Troubleshooting and resolving system issues to ensure scalability, high performance, and reliability.
• Managing multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure to support a global platform.
• Embedding security into all stages of the CI/CD process to ensure compliance and secure deployments.

What We Are Looking For

• Expertise in automation and configuration management with tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms preferably with AWS.
• Proven experience designing and operating CDN/edge delivery solutions (e.g. AWS CloudFront, Cloudflare), including WAF integration and DNS routing.
• Strong understanding of GitOps workflows and container orchestration with Kubernetes or Rancher.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of Web Technologies such as NodeJS, Varnish, and Nginx.
• Familiarity with messaging and event-driven technologies like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with FinOps for cloud cost management and optimization.
• Background in embedding security practices (DevSecOps) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Supporting 24x7 systems with on-call troubleshooting and incident resolution.
