In this role, you are a critical nurse leader responsible for facilitating, coordinating and delegating the delivery of patient care by the Emergency Services service lines at Beverly, Addison Gilbert, and Anna Jaques Hospitals. In this position, you report to the Market Chief Nursing Officer.
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced nursing leader to serve as the Market Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) of Emergency Services overseeing Beverly, Addison Gilbert, and Anna Jaques Hospitals. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across three emergency departments, collectively serving over 85,000 patient visits annually. The ACNO will oversee approximately 150 FTEs and lead high-impact programs including Stroke and Trauma Services, ensuring excellence in patient care, colleague engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
路 Provide executive nursing leadership across three emergency departments.
路 Drive clinical excellence, safety, and quality outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
路 Lead and support specialized programs including Stroke and Trauma, ensuring readiness and performance.
路 Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
路 Partner with medical and operational leaders to optimize patient flow, throughput, and resource utilization.
路 Champion workforce development, engagement, and retention strategies.
路 Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
路 RN with Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
路 Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience.
路 Proven ability to lead large teams and complex programs.
路 Strong knowledge of emergency department operations, trauma systems, and stroke protocols.
路 Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and change management skills.
Preferred:
路 Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN)
路 Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC) offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
