Job Title

Provides strategic and operational leadership for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Support Services within the Revenue Cycle, including Reporting & Analytics, Vendor Management, Training & QA, Epic Optimization, Contract Maintenance, and Performance Improvement/Denial Prevention. Identifies strategic opportunities for enhanced reporting, analytics, operational consistency, technology enablement, and vendor optimization. Partners with peer leaders, Enterprise Revenue Cycle leadership, clinical stakeholders, and Revenue Cycle Business Partners (RCBPs) to drive alignment, ensure regulatory compliance, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen financial outcomes across the enterprise.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and articulate strategic direction for Support Services; translate strategy into actionable operating plans.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Revenue Cycle leaders to design KPIs and measurement frameworks.
  • Analyze process performance to understand pain points and determine root causes.
  • Lead development of enhanced Revenue Cycle Reporting & Analytics capabilities.
  • Champion automation, innovation, and technology-driven solutions to improve performance.
  • Develop strategies to reduce cost and complexity of the vendor network through standardization and technology optimization.
  • Analyze team performance and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Disseminate accurate, timely, modern reporting packages supporting revenue cycle operations.
  • Establish and oversee formal QA and Training programs to improve operational quality, consistency, and data accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit revenue cycle policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Educate and train stakeholders on changes in government regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across Revenue Cycle, Clinical Leadership, Facility Leadership, IT, and Compliance.
  • Report regulatory risks and significant changes to SVP Revenue Cycle and Executive Leadership.
  • Drive culture of accountability and continuous improvement to support financial, operational, and compliance outcomes.
  • Oversee RCBPs in triaging new RC initiatives and coordinating project management support.
  • Lead enterprise transformation efforts in collaboration with RC leadership.
  • Manage business support services including training, contract maintenance, project management, and Epic optimization.
  • Provide financial planning and monitoring for Support Services; co-approve budgets with SVP.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Licensure, Certification & Registration: Project Management, Analytics, or Revenue Cycle certifications preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in large, complex multi-site healthcare provider.
  • Experience leading system wide initiatives in strategy, operational improvement, transformations, or performance improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to develop enterprise reporting structures and performance dashboards.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead operational transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle operations, regulatory frameworks, payor rules, Epic tools, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Strategic thinking and high-level problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to innovate and implement modern solutions in legacy environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience leading enterprise reporting, analytics, QA, or vendor optimization efforts.
  • Experience with Epic optimization, analytics tools, or RPA/automation platforms.

Pay Range

$180,000.00 USD - $210,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
