The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a Senior HR Operations Manager to join our People Services team in Cluj on a fixed term basis. This Senior HR Operations Manager leads our Local HR Core Services teams across multiple countries, overseeing the daily HR operations to ensure efficient and effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and practices. This role involves managing HR staff, optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards, and supporting strategic HR initiatives to enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor HR operations teams located in multiple countries, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the performance management process, including performance reviews, development plans, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance and support to team leaders on performance-related issues.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the HR service responsible for managing customer queries end-to-end, processing Workday transactions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, standardize procedures, implement and drive the adoption of best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions for HR operations, including HRIS platforms, self-service tools, and automation to improve service delivery and employee experience.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor HR operations performance, analyze data trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support change management efforts related to HR process changes, system implementations, organizational restructuring, and other initiatives impacting Core HR Services.
- Leverage knowledge of brand, market and location specific processes/practices/compliance requirements, to adjust and improve delivery of services as required; ensuring processes remain compliant with specific regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other HR functions, including HR business partners, talent acquisition, talent management, and learning and development, to ensure seamless integration of HR services and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on HR operations activities, achievements, and challenges.
Skills & Experience:
- A pro-active self starter able to quickly grasp the objectives of the projects and deal with complexity in a fast moving environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering services to a global organisation both as a manager of teams and in a standalone role.
- Experience successfully developing, implementing, and embedding HR processes across the entire HR lifecycle.
- Previous management of HR case management tools establishing key KPIs and SLAs in alignment with business requirements.
- Exposure to a range of HR cloud technologies and the associated employee lifecycle processes (Workday preferred).
- Evidence of identifying areas for continuously improved operational excellence and completely focused on delivering excellent employee experience.
- Versatile and collaborative with the ability to manage both direct and virtual teams across the HR function and beyond to deliver projects on a range of HR topics.
- An influencer with a strong collegiate approach to be able to work across functions to deliver projects with the support of other teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams across various departments, fostering an environment of open communication and shared goals to achieve collective success.
- Proven ability to set ambitious goals and continuously strive for improvement. Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving high-quality outcomes, consistently pushing for greater efficiency and performance.
