Finance Senior Manager, Home Services (FP&A)

As the Finance Senior Manager in FP&A, you'll be a critical member of Best Buy's One Finance team. You will provide strategic and tactical support across all aspects of financial planning & analysis for Best Buy's delivery and installation services as well as total capabilities support. You will provide leadership, oversight, and direction of a team of financial analysts and senior financial analysts. You will utilize your team's expertise to execute the work while anticipating solving issues and roadblocks. You will develop partnerships with our home service business partners and other internal finance teams. An ideal candidate will have proficient communication skills and an ability to review, evaluate, and summarize complex financial data into clear and concise information to influence decisions by leaders, cross-functional partners, and business teams. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you'll do

• Full P&L management of multiple lines of business, capital, and real estate investments, corporate and productivity driven field teams.
• Partner with senior leadership to help set the strategic plan, communicate, and execute the strategic plans of the business.
• Contribute to setting financial targets, metrics, testing, forecasting, risk assessment and other measures that ensure accurate financial results and clear business accountability.
• Identify potential future risks or opportunities and make recommendations to business leaders to influence change.
• Collaborate and develop trust with business partners and finance leaders to resolve issues and support business strategies.
• Leverage relationships to influence finance, business peers, and senior leadership on operational and strategic issues.

Basic qualifications

• 6 years of progressive work experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications

• 8 years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field
• 2 years of P&L management
• 2 years of management or leadership experience
• MBA, CPA, other certification, or advanced degree
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, build consensus, advocate, anticipate problems and solutions, and work with business partners.
