Field Services Manager - San Diego Metro

As a Field Services Manager, you'll oversee Best Buy's installation, delivery, and repair services within your region. You'll work with marketplace and retail leadership to ensure employees have the needed services and sales knowledge, providing seamless experiences for customers. You'll lead a team of area managers and build a strong employee culture that drives positive business results. This role covers the San Diego metro area and you will need to reside within the San Diego, Escondido or Carmel Valley area.

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain an exceptional team culture centered around engagement and belonging
  • Coach your leadership teams across the division to promote talent development, performance management, and strong employee experience
  • Set expectations for behaviors, processes, and performance that align with contractual requirements
  • Conduct store visits in partnership with retail leaders to ensure fulfillment strategies are being executed
  • Act as the single point of contact for retail partners regarding services and fulfillment issues and partner with other services leaders to find resolutions regardless of location
  • Oversee planning for headcount, hiring, and capacity in collaboration with service partners and direct reports

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as a supervisor or manager
  • 4 years of retail, logistics, operational, warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience
  • 3 years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
  • 2 years of experience managing vendor relationships or partnerships
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the year

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-unit management experience
  • Experience in delivery, transportation, distribution, or logistics
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Experience managing a remote workforce
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, distribution, logistics, business or related field
