Within Besix Unitec, the Software Engineer plays a crucial role in realizing advanced and sustainable construction projects. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies and innovations that maximize the productivity and efficiency of our construction processes. You will be responsible within the project team for developing PLC concepts and discussing them with our customers and/or subcontractors. You will have close contacts with fellow engineers to optimize the performance and efficiency of the system. Based on function analyses that you prepare, you will program the controls. Monitoring the quality of applications and solving technical problems are part of the job package and help with commissioning. Occasionally, you will visit the site to ensure follow-up. We like to keep track of our numbers and expect good project budget follow-up.
