- The IT Operations Technician will provide Tier 1 support for IBM Z-Series, IBM I-Series, FTP platforms, and storage platforms in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
- Responsibilities include monitoring production environments and responding to system messages effectively.
- The role involves processing batch cycles and executing batch restarts according to established procedures.
- The technician will create in-depth documentation of processes to support work efforts and drive continual service improvement.
- Collaboration with various teams is required to restore service rapidly during service interruptions.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with JCL and IBM Mainframe consoles.
- A background in IT support-oriented environments with established SLAs is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with ITIL ticket systems, such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to provide clear and concise information to on-call support and clients.
