- The primary responsibility is to assist in maintaining continuous uptime of the Data Center by monitoring critical support systems.
- The role involves responding to alarms caused by faults and failures in the Data Center.
- Visual inspections and readings of equipment and systems are part of the daily tasks.
- The technician will perform testing on equipment and systems as part of a preventive maintenance schedule.
- The position requires collaboration with vendors and contractors to ensure proper maintenance and response to issues.

- The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems, large generator systems, UPS systems operation, or power distribution.
- A high school diploma or GED is required, with a trade school or associate's degree being a plus.
- The successful individual must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and climbing ladders while working at heights of 6 to 12 feet.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role may require nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 data center operations.
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintaining critical systems is crucial for success in this role.
