Senior Services Unit Host, Food Services (full Time)

Directly responsible for the patient dining experience by taking a patient's order at their bedside, guiding the patient in selecting their meal, and the delivery of meals to patients throughout the hospital. The primary focus is to form relationships with patients in order to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. The Unit Host has knowledge of all diets and exhibits a sense of urgency to ensure the timely, expedient and accurate delivery of meals to our guests. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Course work or knowledge in nutrition and special diets preferred.
