Job Description

You will join the "Royalties & Payment" team whose mission is to design and develop the best products and tools related to the distribution of royalties for artists and to allow them to have visibility on the performance of their activities through financial data visualization tools, dedicated reporting, and management of financial balances and payment solutions.

Our team consists of 6 engineers, 1 engineering manager, 1 Product Owner, and 1 Product Manager.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a central role in the technical evolution of our data platform and in the structuring of best practices within the team. You will also intervene in both design, architecture, and development issues, with a strong focus on code quality, robustness of data pipelines, and scalability of solutions.

You will ensure technical excellence by implementing and respecting development standards (tests, documentation, CI/CD, monitoring) as well as the application of good programming practices, which you master and know how to transmit. Your expertise will allow you to accompany junior profiles and help the team grow in skills, while actively contributing to technological choices and the optimization of our data stack.

Missions

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines:

• You will play a key role in the design of efficient, resilient, and maintainable data processing pipelines, taking into account business needs and technical constraints (latency, volume, frequency).

• Design modern data architectures (batch, streaming).

• Development in Java/Spark, Python.

• Integration with cloud services (GCP).

• Implementation of good practices in versioning, automated testing, documentation, and observability.

• Agility and participation in ceremonies:

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies.

• Help the team identify and remove technical blockages during the sprint.

• Contribute to the definition and prioritization of technical tasks, in liaison with the Product Owner and other team members.

• Ensure that the team adopts an incremental and iterative approach to guarantee continuous delivery of value.

• Encourage a continuous improvement mindset, by proposing adjustments to working methods if necessary.

• You will be a technical reference for the team:

• Define and disseminate development guidelines

• Rigorous and benevolent code review

• Participation in tech rituals (tech talks, peer programming)

Qualifications

You are at BAC+3 to BAC+5 level (Engineering Schools, BTS, DUT, DESS, Master's), or not...

You have successful development experience in the following environments: Java, Spark, Python, MySQL, GCP, Kubernetes...

You have a minimum successful experience of 3 to 5 years as a Senior Data Engineer in BtoB or BtoC environments and you have participated in large-scale projects involving the performance and resilience of large data processing.

Having experience in the transformation of applications and scalability issues, as well as knowledge of the music industry, would be a plus.

You are accustomed to agile and high-growth environments and you know how to show adaptability and responsiveness.
