We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our specialist aquatics team at Beca – As part of our team you will work across sport and leisure sectors to deliver high-performance, sustainable outcomes for our communities.
Our staff has helped shape some of New Zealand's most iconic aquatic and sporting facilities, and we're actively expanding our footprint in Australia. From community leisure centres to international competition venues, we bring technical excellence, cultural sensitivity, and environmental responsibility to every project.
As part of our team, you'll work alongside internationally recognised experts in our field, collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver innovative mechanical solutions that support healthy, resilient aquatic and sporting environments. You'll be involved in everything from concept design to construction monitoring, and contribute to projects that celebrate community identity and purpose.
Each year we welcome over 200 graduates to Beca across Australia and New Zealand. Our size and agility mean you're not just on the fringes; you'll be part of a team making a visible difference, solving problems for our clients, and co-creating to discover new ways of doing things better.
As a Beca graduate, you will join our Graduate Development Programme, a two-year journey designed to set you up for a successful and fulfilling career with us.
You will work on projects, with clients and responsibilities from day one. You will have access to mentoring, coaching, learning and development opportunities, as well as social and networking events. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors and locations. You will be exposed to different challenges and perspectives, and you will be able to apply your skills and creativity to solve real-world problems. You will be supported by a network of experts and mentors who will guide you and help you reach your full potential. You will also have the chance to contribute to the communities and the environment that we work in, and to make a positive difference for our future.
We value diversity and inclusion, and we celebrate the unique perspectives and talents of our people. We are committed to creating a culture of respect, collaboration and innovation, where everyone feels welcome, valued and empowered.
We are also committed to your wellbeing and safety, and we offer flexible work arrangements and benefits that suit your needs and preferences.
