Data Engineering Manager

We are looking for a person with capacity, knowledge, or eagerness to acquire them:

• Lead the definition and execution of projects in the data engineering area.
• Knowledge (or eagerness to acquire) in cloud environments, Big Data, Amazon Web Services (ADA).
• Knowledge (or eagerness to acquire) in languages/technologies, such as Scala, Spark, Python, LLM's and other GENAI technologies.
• Knowledge of work in the AGILE environment, Scrums, ceremonies, and use of Jira.
• Knowledge in informational environments, and/or functional areas of the perimeters of Finance, Risks, CS, Sustainability others...

Skills: good communicator, empathetic, enthusiastic, good adaptation to change, capacity for analysis, teamwork, people management, critical thinking, capacity to make disruptive decisions.

From the Data Engineering – Engineering Spain unit, we work to drive the strategic exploitation of DATA in all areas and businesses of the bank, with the aim of becoming an authentic Data Driven company.

Our environment is in constant technological evolution, which allows us to offer new services, explore innovative possibilities, and launch disruptive projects. In particular, Generative Artificial Intelligence is opening the way to new use cases, which makes us a dynamic area, in continuous change and with great projection.

We want to incorporate a Data Engineering Manager, who will be responsible for defining, leading and evolving projects in the data area.
