The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated healthcare system.
Essential functions of the role include assessing the physical and mental condition of patients, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, counseling patients and families, maintaining records, and performing procedures as delegated by a supervising physician.
Key success factors include knowledge of diagnosis and treatment, communication skills, critical thinking, computer proficiency, and the ability to develop patient treatment plans.
The schedule includes clinic and dialysis rounding, outpatient care, and managing an in-basket for prior authorizations and phone calls from different dialysis units.
