Barclays Prime Services Negotiator VP

To oversee and manage transactional processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation for financial transactions.

Accountabilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations for transaction services and documentation.
• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders for timely and efficient transaction execution.
• Creation, review, negotiation, and management of legal documents.
• Transaction support including preparation of transaction summaries and due diligence.
• Development and implementation of transaction processes and procedures.
• Proactive identification and communication of applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

As a Barclays Prime Services Negotiator VP, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing capital markets contract documentation to support the Prime Services and Prime Derivative Services businesses.

To be successful, you should have experience with:

• The suite of capital markets contract documentation including the drafting, negotiating, and executing of these agreements.
• Working with the prime services, prime derivatives services, and related financing businesses.

• Extensive legal analysis and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders on risk, controls, and legal requirements.
• Proven capability to manage complex negotiations and execute documentation under tight timelines.

This role is located in the Whippany, NJ office with a minimum salary of $200,000 and a maximum salary of $260,000.
