AVP - Markets Legal Global Contract Services – Knowledge & Data Team

Join us as an AVP within the Markets Legal master agreement negotiation team (Global Contract Services) in Pune, India. Members of the Knowledge & Data Team provide daily support to the broader Global Contract Services Team and other internal stakeholders by:

• reviewing final agreements for completeness,
• extracting relevant legal and business data points,
• assisting with counterparty diligence and execution of master agreements,
• managing management information, and
• storing legal documents in Barclays' central document repository.

The Knowledge & Data Team maintain controls to ensure that data elements captured from trading documentation accurately flow to downstream consumers, all regulatory requirements in relation to record retention are satisfied and requirements of the Chief Data Office with respect to critical data points are met. Other duties include efficiently answering queries, data analysis & remediation, production of reporting and ad hoc project work as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest team within Barclays Legal.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience with data management and analysis, document management systems and managing document repositories
• Ability to navigate various IT systems used by the Legal function
• Experience assisting with various research, remediation and ad hoc projects
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Openness to flexible work hours

• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) preferred
