To be successful as an Engineering Infrastructure/DevOps Lead you should have experience with:

• Experience/Knowledge of, Operating systems - Unix/Linux Shell & PowerShell scripting Relational Database, preferably Oracle DB Server Application/Web server, preferably JWS Tomcat & Spring boot framework. Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools like Chef, Ansible Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, ESaaS Messaging technologies, preferably IBM MQ, Kafka Experience working with OpenShift Container Platform & AWS
• Implement monitoring and analytics to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the systems.
• Manage & drive the DevOps pipeline that supports the application lifecycle across the DevOps toolchain – from planning, coding & building, to testing, to staging, to PROD release.
• Conversant into framing out the deployment strategy for deploying the artifacts
• Experience of tools like Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins/Gitlab & Nolio.
• Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Infra/DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Facilitate positive engagement and collaboration between multiple parties including key internal & external stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Compliance and Security - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
• Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for strategic initiatives.

Some other highly valued skills includes:

• Industry-Specific Knowledge - Experience in a financial services/ FinCrime domain will be beneficial.
• Cloud Platform Expertise - Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
