AVP Data Engineer

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyze data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Accountabilities:

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehouses and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.

To be successful as an AVP Data Engineer, you should have experience with:

• Building large-scale and highly optimized data warehouses and data marts
• Python, Scala, Spark, SQL, Informatica and shell scripting
• AML surveillance platforms like Actimize, and Quantexa
• On-premises to cloud migrations including batch processing
• AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, EMR, EBS, and EKS

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• CI/ CD and DevOps/ DevSecOps practices using GitLab
• Proficiency with Snowflake and Databricks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

This role is located in our Whippany, NJ or New York, NY office.

Salary for Whippany, NJ:

Minimum Salary: $120,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Minimum Salary: $120,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000
