At Banner, we are building our Culinary and Nutrition Services team with a high performing, close knit and diverse group of individuals who take pride in providing our patients and staff with spectacular service. As a part of our Culinary team, you will be responsible for providing service and assistance to patients, staff and other customers in accordance with established dietary and retail cafe policies and procedures. Some of the additional duties as a Food Service Worker include the cleaning of the kitchen and dining room and dishwashing throughout your day. You will be cross trained to many of the areas in the kitchen, including barista, cashier, tray line, dishwashing, and other back of the house and front of house duties, ensuring we keep up with the process flow. You will assist with food prep, unbox foods and supplies, lifting and carrying boxes from storage and ensure shelves are restocked.
Shift: Full Time, Evening Shift; 12:00pm to 8:30pm, weekend and holiday on rotation

POSITION SUMMARY
This position works as a member of the food service team on one or more assignments in cleaning, food preparation, patient trayline or retail café. Provides service and assistance to patients, staff and other customers in accordance with established dietary and retail cafe policies and procedures.

This position requires the ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures, read and understand written and verbal instruction, to communicate effectively and to provide customer service. Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required. POS (cash register) when applicable.
