Security Engineer With Focus On Endpoint And Vulnerability Protection

We are currently seeking a Security Engineer with a focus on endpoint and vulnerability protection for a growing part of our organization in Stockholm.

As a Security Engineer, you will work operationally to monitor, improve, and operate security solutions for our endpoints – both client and server environments – in order to detect and manage threats at an early stage. You will play an important role in vulnerability management, patch coordination, and technical compliance, and will work closely with SOC, operations, and other security functions.

The job involves responsibility for solutions such as EDR, SVS, log platforms, and analysis tools – as well as participation in incident management and security investigations. You will drive improvements in routines, documentation, and technical controls, and continuously work to reduce attack surfaces and increase resilience in our IT environment.

Who Are You

You have a security mindset that spans both infrastructure and application, and are familiar with working in complex IT environments with high demands for security and availability. Your working style is characterized by structure, analysis, and a strong focus on preventing and managing technical threats to the business.

We see that you have experience working with EDR solutions such as Defender or SentinelOne, and are comfortable with vulnerability management and endpoint protection in both Windows and Linux environments. You have a good understanding of malware behavior, log analysis, and incident response, as well as insight into the security requirements for operating clients and servers. It is advantageous if you have certifications in cybersecurity, such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC, or CISSP.
