The Inside Sales & Estimator role is a customer-facing position focused on building strong client relationships while managing the full sales and estimating process. This person owns inbound and outbound sales activity, generates accurate and timely estimates, and works closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly and profitably. Success in the role requires strong organization, the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, and a proactive approach to finding new opportunities and growing existing accounts.

Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related sales experience
Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with CAD and estimating software is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Outgoing, energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, timely estimates
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Skilled in building and maintaining vendor relationships to support profitability and service quality
Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying solutions that enhance both customer satisfaction and company margins
Develop new business and maintain and grow existing customer accounts
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Learn and effectively sell company products and services within existing markets
Support expansion into new markets, including masonry, windows, exterior wall systems, and cold storage
Deliver a consistently positive and professional customer experience
Identify and pursue new leads through customer interactions, online research, and networking, including platforms like LinkedIn
Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person interactions
Review customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives
Manage accounts receivable on a weekly basis
Build and strengthen customer relationships through ongoing engagement, including meetings and events
Collaborate with internal teams on product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate customer feedback, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement to internal stakeholders
Proactively identify and report discrepancies, quality concerns, or project issues
Support additional operational tasks as needed, including inventory coordination and administrative functions
Maintain accurate records and follow company SOPs for CRM, estimating, sales orders, and invoicing systems
This role requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday. The individual may occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull objects of varying weights. Movement may include reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, and twisting while performing routine office tasks such as filing, retrieving materials, and navigating a standard office environment. This position also involves mental demands that include managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, cognitively challenging environment. The individual must be able to quickly learn and apply new knowledge and skills—both simple and complex—to maintain effectiveness in the role.
Work is primarily conducted in an office setting. However, the role may occasionally involve travel or off-site activity, including product or installation learning visits, vendor meetings or lunches, and customer site visits.
