Structural Lead Engineer – Subsea Manifolds Systems

The Structural Lead Engineer – Subsea Manifolds Systems is responsible for analyses and supporting mechanical engineers to develop design solutions for Manifolds as a part of projects, tenders or programs.
Typical tasks and defined responsibilities in the role:
- Structural verification of manifolds and its foundations,
- Create necessary structural design reports and drawings,
- Be part of a design team within manifold system projects,
- Work with other Engineers and management to develop design concepts,
- Contribute to team effort to meet project milestones and needs,
- Consider safety, quality, cost and manufacturability in designs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
- Leading and contribute on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
- Working cross functionally with other engineers and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
- Presenting analyses / design outcomes in design reviews when needed.
- Providing engineering support to program management.
- Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Have good understanding of Materials, strength and production processes.
- Have robust mechanical design background
- Be Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility
- Have good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
- Be Proactive and results oriented
