Job Description
Coordinate and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of completions services, from planning to execution and operation closure, ensuring customer satisfaction, well integrity, and compliance with operational and financial objectives.
Functions And Responsibilities
Planning And Operational Preparation
- Develop completion plans considering design, tools, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate the logistics of completions equipment (packers, sleeves, plugs, sand control, ICS, Smart Tools, etc.).
- Validate the availability of critical materials and tools, ensuring their calibration and certification.
Operational Management On Site
- Supervise the execution of completions operations, ensuring compliance with BHGE standards.
- Provide technical support on site and monitor key parameters during the installation of systems.
- Ensure the correct integration of services with other lines (interventions, cementing, wireline, fracturing, etc.).
Strategic Relationship With The Client
- Be the main point of contact during planning, execution, and post-job.
- Identify opportunities for design optimization, operational efficiency, and performance improvement.
- Participate in DWOP, HAZOP, pre-job, post-job, and performance review meetings.
Costs, Profitability, And Contract Compliance
- Control operational costs and ensure projects meet expected financial parameters.
- Prepare post-operation reports and analyses with indicators, findings, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Evaluate operational deviations and propose continuous improvement actions.
HSE And Quality
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies at all stages of the operation.
- Lead safety initiatives and promote the STOP WORK culture.
- Manage quality incidents, reliability, and ensure the effective closure of corrective actions.
Position Requirements
Education
- Petroleum, Mechanical, Electronics, or related engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in completions operations.
- Proven experience in completion systems (mechanical, smart, sand control, liner hangers, ICDs/ECDs).
- Project coordination, operational logistics, and field supervision.
