As a Field Specialist II, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and technical analyses to ensure the effectiveness of chemical treatments in water and crude oil. This role is key to making technical decisions, ensuring service quality and compliance with international standards.

As a Field Specialist II, your responsibilities will be:

• Executing routine laboratory tests and field sampling.
• Preparing technical reports and reporting the performance of treatments.
• Participating in the selection of products and the development of new protocols.
• Ensuring the care, certification, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Interpreting data for decision-making in chemical treatments.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Education: Chemical Technician, Petroleum Technician, Chemistry Graduate, Chemical Engineer, Petroleum Engineer or other related technical specialties.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions (may be less depending on experience).
• Knowledge in crude analysis (dehydration, paraffins, cold finger) and water analysis (scaling tendency, ATP, broths, jar test).
• Knowledge of ASTM, NACE standards and techniques.
• Competence in interpreting data and preparing technical reports.
• Intermediate/advanced English (desirable).
• Soft skills: teamwork, proactivity, assertiveness, effective communication with clients and a collaborative attitude.

This role involves work in Base Centenario and fields in Neuquén and Rincón de los Sauces, with the possibility of using a truck for work activities (requires B2 driver’s license).
