As an Electronic Engineer, you will lead the design, development and testing of hardware electronics in our energy solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll connect the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions.
As an Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end hardware development for new devices: from concept, design, and prototyping to validation, production, and post-launch support.
- Design and review analog/digital circuitry, system architecture, and power solutions with emphasis on performance, safety, and compliance.
- Collaborate with and provide guidance to external PCB layout contractors and design houses.
- Translate user, and regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications and documentation.
- Conduct internal and external design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including embedded software, manufacturing, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure thorough and compliant documentation of all hardware development in line with standards such as IECEX, RF/EMC, and other requirements.
- Participate in hands-on debugging, lab testing, and product validation.
- Support embedded firmware development as needed to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.
- Utilize SAP systems to provide operational support for production activities.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
- Have at least 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development, including analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCAD)
- Have knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment
- Be Self-reliant, resourceful and a problem solver with well-developed commercial awareness
- Be an effective communicator, fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Be a good team player with the ability to work independently
