Partner with the best As a Combustion Tuning Engineer, you will have to mainly focus on all Mapping activities related to Gas Turbine fleet to meet Site guaranteed emissions levels, while also balancing machine performance and integrity.
As a Combustion Tuning Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Being a recognized Engineering expert with excellent technical foundations and deep knowledge of Engineering processes.
- Performing job DLN/DLE analysis with respect to fuel gas parameters and combustor dynamics to ensure the best Gas Turbine operating conditions.
- Deepening Gas Turbine performance boundaries.
- Interacting with Combustion, Controls and Operability teams to efficiently convey actions on the specific job, and, potentially, in the whole fleet.
- Timely assisting Site teams with the proper technical clarifications and contributing to non-conformities containment/recovery strategies, as per NCA/RCA methodologies.
- Leveraging expertise to solve field problems and providing data-driven recommendations, while protecting the company's Intelligent Property rights.
- Participating into Field-to-Design/Kaizen activities to increase productivity.
- Understanding and motivating the Service vision and processes, focusing on continuous improvement and competencies strengthening.
- Being stimulated by new technologies and engaged with NPDs to foster GTS growth.
- Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partners, presenting projects milestones and technical results to BH organization stakeholders.
- Leading, proposing and reviewing job activities, endorsing projects on-time delivery and compliance to contractual specs, BH safety standards and products reliability, availability and maintenance.
- Actively promoting and contributing to BH occupational health, safety, and environment culture.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Master's in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Have significant experience in an Engineering capacity.
- Have deep knowledge of BH turbomachinery, equipment and systems, from both mechanical and operability point of views.
- Be able to effectively communicate and have a growth mindset, showing motivation and self-starting attitude.
- Have a proven capability to interact with multi-functional teams.
- Have proficient oral and written communication skills, especially in English language, together with strong interpersonal skills.
- Have demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects and problem-solving skills.
