The primary focus of this role will be to participate in technical teams involved with the design, verification, test, and manufacture of antenna systems at BAE Systems. Responsibilities also include:

• Create new or modify existing antenna designs using full wave analysis software under the direction of a senior design engineer.
• Support Operations in the fabrication of the design and its testing in the appropriate antenna chamber or antenna test range.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution of antenna products
• Production antenna support to include supervising the acceptance test sell-off and processing of test data for BAE Systems products.
• Define the technical approach and details of antenna designs he/she is responsible for
• Responsible for all aspects of testing within his/her area of expertise and may be responsible for support to production
• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelors degree in related engineering field and 4 years hands on experience.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal technical direction and seek out domain expertise as needed for the success of his project.
• Experience with requirements flow down as well as traceability within the larger system is a plus.
• MS Office proficient, MATLAB Proficient, HFSS proficient, CST, and FEKO desired
• MATLab proficient

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) or equivalent experience preferred
• Secret/SAP/SAR Clearance highly preferred

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
