Senior Principal RF Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal RF Engineer to join our team on the EPAWSS (Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System) program. As a Senior Principal RF Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design, development, and testing of RF systems and modules, including the Quad Tuner Module (QTM), Quad Up-converter Module (QUM), Input Switch Matrix (ISM), Output Switch Module (OSM), and RF Front End (RFFE). Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing and support of RF systems and modules, including QTM, QUM, ISM, OSM, and RFFE
• Analyze and compile nonconformance data to identify key failure modes and lead yield improvement based on data-driven analysis
• Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to reduce failure modes and improve test yields, as well as reduce test times where applicable
• Utilize LabVIEW and various NI/Keysight toolsets to debug and troubleshoot complex RF issues across sub-assembly, module, and system levels
• Navigate BAE tools and systems for nonconformance tracking and yield reporting, as well as other tools such as PLM for proper document rev control review
• Provide strong technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
• Develop and present technical information to program teams and/or customers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• BSEE with a concentration in RF
• 8+ years of experience working on RF/Microwave designs within the frequency range of 50MHz to 20GHz
• Deep working knowledge of RF modules from circuit level to system performance
• Experience with RF path cascade analysis and non-linear analysis
• Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• MSEE with a concentration in RF
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module, and circuit design and development
• Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans
• Design and analysis of microwave systems and circuits using Agilent Advanced Design Suite (ADS) and Genesys
• Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
