BAE Systems' Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for a Radar Engineer for the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line specializing in RF Seeker development programs. BAE Systems is seeking a Huntsville, AL-based Radar Engineer to join a growing team developing cutting-edge capabilities in multimodal/multifunction seekers. You will serve as a technical contributor on our integrated product team in the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) product line. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for deeply impactful contributions to next generation military autonomy. Members on this development team drive collaborative value creation that is greater than the sum of their individual contributions. You will have the opportunity to participate in efforts across the full-spectrum of technology maturation ranging from Strategic Initiatives, IRAD/CRAD R&D prototypes, EMD units, LRIP units to full rate production systems. You will work with other engineering staff & team leaders to grow our knowledge and capabilities through engineering changes, lessons learned, insights, Agile retrospectives and product/process improvements in Radar seeker technology.

The ideal candidate will have a balanced Radar experience mix covering two or more of the following: Radar analysis, design, prototyping, integration, test, and/or verification. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be familiar with Radar architectures that may include a combination of COTS and Internally developed components and will have an understanding to application in missile/munition seeker solutions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Must be a US Citizen with a Secret clearance who is eligible for Top Secret/SCI/SAP/SAP clearance
  • Experienced in two or more Radar engineering activities to include analysis, design, prototyping, integration, test, and/or verification
  • Familiarity in weapons systems design, missile systems design, or weapons systems performance analysis
  • Experience with reviewing, characterizing, and/or verifying Radar system designs, baseband/ RF/ Millimeter Wave

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Advanced (MS or higher) degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
  • Understanding of one or more Radar modalities to include pulsed-Doppler, SAR, and HRR
  • Experienced in a combination of CPU, GPU, & FPGA Radar signal processing and algorithms

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
