Field Service Technician Mk 41, Vertical Launching System

Required education, experience, and skills:

• Two years "on-the-job" training with basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Relevant course work or training
• Relevant work experience in the defense industry

Preferred education, experience, and skills:

• Working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate level proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email and calendar software.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other personnel, inside and outside of the organization.
• Navy Ratings: All Weapons Ratings and all Aviation Structural and Mechanical Ratings.

• Frequently required to move about, reach with arms and legs and lift 100lbs.
• Work is conducted in light industrial repair facility and shipboard environment.
• May work extended hours and weekends.
• May require travel in and outside the United States.

Pay Information:

Full-time salary range: $51086 - $81738. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
