Working for BAE Systems supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection presents a unique opportunity. You will experience a variety of system technologies which present both challenge and reward. The Field Service Engineer position entails installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mission processing, display, sensor, communications, avionics, and power distribution systems. Platforms include CBP Air and Marine DHC-8 Maritime Patrol Aircraft, King Air Multirole Enforcement Aircraft, as well as occasional support of systems onboard H-60 or AS-350 helicopters. Responsibilities also include assisting external contractors and CBP operators via provision of training and system familiarization, troubleshooting, and operational guidance. This position is located in Conroe, TX. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Conroe or surrounding areas.
High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of avionics experience. Relevant U.S. Military avionics or commercial electronics training. Valid U.S. Driver's license. Experience with integrated mission processing and display systems. Experience with airborne RADAR systems and general avionics. Familiarity with VHF, UHF, Ku Satellite, and Satellite phone voice and data communications. Electronics test equipment experience such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and video analyzers. Ability to lift 30 pounds and work on ladders and equipment platforms.

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
