Maintenance Dispatch

Maintenance Dispatch is the centralized communication hub of all maintenance related issues and needs. Dispatchers are to communicate and assign work to employees, setting priorities according to operational hierarchy, and to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) accurately and create reports displaying the metrics.

1. Always put safety first in regards to all work being performed by self and wage employees.

2. Make sure work is coordinated properly to ensure safety and support for our customers.

3. Observe all safety, security, housekeeping, and general plant rules and regulations.

4. Effectively communicate with wage personnel (safety/work assignments/issues/concerns, etc.).

5. Coordinate overtime with group/team leaders as needed and report OT, with justification, to management.

6. Function as a team member. Work and communicate well with all areas of the plant.

7. Set up work assignments to ensure complete resource utilization.

8. Must be able to listen, comprehend and execute instructions from managers.

9. Maintains records of service calls and preventive maintenance work orders via database entry.

10. Identify and correct potential problems, notify supervisor if assistance is needed from other groups.

11. Know the job duties of the wage craftsmen personnel to be supervised as applicable.

13. Communicate with craftsmen and pursue 5 Why's on equipment failures and document.

15. Must have good leadership and organizational skills and an understanding of working within a union environment.

16. Assist in writing and editing preventive maintenance procedures (PM's) on new and old equipment.

17. Prepares service work orders using information, such as name, address, building to be repaired, or service to be rendered using database software, (MAXIMO) to create service work orders from customer-provided information.

18. Extracts necessary information from the customer and craftsmen in order to produce an accurate description of the required work and the actual work completed.

19. Familiar with Maximo and Preventative Maintenance planning and scheduling.

20. Prints and finishes service work order processing in accordance with standard operating procedures

21. Distributes work orders to craftsman, through their supervisor, upon customer's request for service calls

22. Enters labor hours and material cost data from completed service and preventive maintenance work orders into database

Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Microsoft Office, Maximo software and/or other computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). One year experience with spreadsheet applications required, including creating & modifying spreadsheet formulas

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $65800 - $105300 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
